moving through northern ohio. this is more of a timing issue than a quick inundation and it looks like once we get that front a little bit closer it has several strings of moisture and there's even upper level support. i would say we are looking at a widespread one to rain by monday night and there will be isolated areas that we can exceed 5 inches. here is the good news, the flash flood watches will go through sunday and then stop. we have a dry start on saturday and the rain will pick up in the afternoon and evening. we will go hour by hour straightahead. it has been a week marked by fast-moving storms and widespread power outages. >> is patients finally playing

12:20 am
temperatures will be getting into the upper 80s and i wouldn't be surprised if we make it into the low 90s in some spots. the later in the day, the better the chance for rain and thunder. we have a flash flood watches that starts at 2 pm on saturday and will continue through much of sunday. it expires at 8 pm sunday and it is all because of this moisture that we have coming in and that is here now. dew points are up. it is messy humidity that we have and be dry air is not until you get to the west of the mississippi and you can see this yellow patch is another big wave. a stream of moisture riding along a cold front and you can see how that lines up with where this train of rain is. it will be coming through northern ohio and and the timing
12:21 am
saturday and into sunday. we will probably see a few breaks in between, but once this lives and you can plan on a good amount of rain. the front is along the mississippi river and slowly but surely pushing to the east. the main driving force will be moving northeast so that is what slows things down. as far as far morning, we might have a around we have seen some things popping up to the west and i don't think it will be a washout. just grab the radar, michael will be and in the morning i think restart at ibm on saturday. greg will be in throughout the afternoon and evening and we will be watching when the rain and thunderstorms start to pop. updated forecast numbers taking a well into the upper 80s and low 90s.
12:22 am
at 15 to 20 and that will feed into these thunderstorms we could have some strong storms with wind and hail, but mostly it will be heavy rain that will be periodically coming through the area. we will start to get a few breaks potentially and not too confident on a dry periods saturday night, but i think we will get a breaks from the heavy rain threat and then watch what happens on sunday as we go through the day. this front has not gone anyway and -- anywhere and very slowly that will dry us out later in the day. your best chance for dry weather will be in the morning on saturday and later in the day on sunday and you have to stay up on the forecast. your forecast takes us up near 90 and if you have boating lanes it is nice out there now. 2 to 4 feet on sunday.
